At Tai Calon, we believe in empowering our tenants to have a say in shaping their community and housing services. Recently, we invited expressions of interest from our tenants to become tenant board members, and we are thrilled to announce that we have three outstanding candidates.

Shannon, a 9-year tenant and nearly 3-year Board Member of Tai Calon, is passionate about local communities and the future of Tai Calon. As Chair of the Homes and Communities Committee, she leverages her deep knowledge of tenant needs and the Welsh social housing sector to enhance local lives.

As a teacher and a member of diverse communities, Joe Escott has witnessed the power of collective efforts in making a difference. His experiences have taught him the importance of serving others and creating a brighter world. Joe is determined to bring this ethos to Tai Calon as a Tenant Board Member and become the voice that advocates for your housing requirements and aspirations.

Karen, a skilled carpenter with finance experience and 26 years as a social housing tenant brings valuable insight to Tai Calon. She’s committed to improving confidence and health, advocates for sustainability, and actively participates in community charity events. Her diverse skills and dedication make her an ideal Board Member.
